100% Australian MANUKA Beeswax - 1kg food grade block for wax candies and balms
Our manuka beeswax, harvested, by us, from Australian manuka plants in our region on the Mid North Coast of NSW, is 100% natural.
** Do not get caught out paying for cheaper imitation, imported paraffin wax! **
It is gently filtered to remove any field residue, but it is not further processed, bleached or added to in any way. It is often a colour more olive than bright yellow.
It is ready in 1kg block form for your use. If you need more than 1kg you can buy multiple blocks or you can order our 10kg block...or even a tonne or more!
This is the perfect beeswax for:
- making wax candies (also known as beeswax lollies)
- making eco friendly, food grade beeswax wraps
- making balms and cosmetics including beeswax lip balms, heel balms and moisturisers
At The Beekeeper®, we're the ones who harvest the manuka honey and the resulting beeswax. We're also the ones who bottle your manuka honey, as well as melt, shape and store the resulting manuka wax for your use.
FYI: we also have other honey harvests and beeswax harvests available including from floral sources including yellow box, stringy bark, bloodwood and ironbark.
Feel good knowing you are buying direct from the beekeeper and that this is 100% pure Australian manuka beeswax from beautiful flora on the NSW coast.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q. Is you beeswax food grade?
A. Yes it is.
Q. What is beeswax bloom?
A. Beeswax bloom is the dusty-looking, dull 'film' that you will sometimes see on the surface of beeswax and beeswax candles. It usually occurs when the wax cools and is exposed to differing temperatures. It's basically that the softer oils in the wax rise to the surface, it's a natural phenomena and not harmful in any way. If the look bothers you, you can either buff the wax with a cloth, or gently apply warm air via a hairdryer. Beeswax bloom is actually a great sign as it shows your beeswax is 100% natural, but we also sometimes wipe it down a bit before shipping, and it is dependent on the temp.
Q. What have your bees been feeding on to create the wax?
A. If you are buying our Manuka beeswax, it comes from our bees feeding predominantly on manuka when it is flowering.
SHIPPING: NOT TO WESTERN AUSTRALIA OR KANGAROO ISLAND.
