A few degrees drop in temperature and it's suddenly just a few weeks until Autumn! That's why the Real Food Markets in Port Macquarie has changed hours to 10am-4pm.
If you're a local or lucky to be visiting this lovely area, you can now come down each Tuesday for your honey refills, to try our honey harvests and to buy your manuka honey direct from us, the beekeepers who harvest it.
If you can’t make Tuesdays, you can also find us monthly at Port Macquarie's The Foreshore Market, as well as buy our honey from some fabulous stockists or buy our manuka honey direct from us here online.
As beekeepers, we really feel the change of the seasons and love how the honey lovers we know change how they use our honey - and the harvests they select - during the course of the year.
Manuka honey comes into its own during Autumn and Winter too, for general good health for the immune system, to help clear up infections and to soothe sore throats. While our other honeys become the star of:
- warm drinks including teas, lattes and chai
- baking (honey pumpkin pancakes...yum!)
- stir fries, soups and stews
- glazed roasted vegetables (think delicious carrots, sweet potato and pumpkin!)
