Manuka Honey Face Mask Recipe DIY

You know the best thing about a great Manuka face mask recipe? The bees, trees, sunshine and rain (and we beekeepers!) have already done all the hard work.

You don't need to add anything or mix anything and the honey will naturally exfoliate, smooth, soften and moisturise.

Just get the best quality certified Manuka you can  and you're away. Here are the simple steps to follow:

  1. Buy some certified Australian Manuka honey (also known by beekeepers as jellybush honey or leptospermum honey)
  2. Wash and pat dry your face
  3. Use a dessert spoon to scoop out some Manuka and gently apply to your face
  4. Relax for 10-20 minutes with your Manuka mask on, then remove with a wet facecloth or under running water in the shower.

It's as simple as that. What better skincare than one that comes direct from nature.

In a recent Sydney Morning Herald article by Natalie Reilly, celebrity facialist Melanie Grant, was quoted as saying, “I have always loved a DIY face mask...One of my all-time favourites is to apply Manuka Honey all over for 20 minutes before removing with a washcloth.”

Oh yeh! We agree! So easy, so natural, so good. Exfoliating and moisturising in one easy step, no additives or manmade chemicals. Just nature.

We're honoured to be able to harvest Australian Manuka and put it in a jar for your use. Enjoy.,
